Meet Our Staff

Kathryn Berry

Center Director of KidsLife and BaseCamp
I have dedicated my professional career to child care since 2007, building my skills and knowledge to provide the best support and education for young children. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and am currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), which deepens my understanding of childhood development and effective teaching strategies. Outside of my career, I’m grateful to share life with my supportive husband and two wonderful daughters, who inspire me daily. Guided by my favorite scripture, Esther 4:14, I believe we are each placed where we are for a purpose, and I strive to fulfill that calling by creating a positive, nurturing environment for children to thrive.

Dan Pike

BaseCamp Director
With a Masters of Science in Elementary Education degree and 14 years of youth development experience, I am excited to see BaseCamp thrive. I want to help foster a healthy, grace-full/filled community here!

Kyleigh Kyler

Assistant Director
I have been in childcare since 2016 and at KidsLife/BaseCamp since 2022. I am married to a wonderful husband and have three sons, one of whom also attends BaseCamp. I currently have a CDA in Infant/Toddlers and Preschool, and I am working towards getting my Bachelor's degree in Career Tech Education. I am excited to be a part of the BaseCamp crew to give a perspective of both sides, as a mother to a camper and a teacher. I'm excited to see what God does for our team and kiddos this school year.

Stevie Frohlich

Assistant Director
I have been working in early childhood education since 2018. I began working in this field to fulfill my interest in infant/toddler mind function, which motivated me to get my CDA in Infant/Toddlers and Preschool from UNR. When I am not at KidsLife/BaseCamp I love spending time with my husband and two boys.

Logan Erickson

Lead BaseCamp Counselor
Following the Great Commission, I've found my way to BaseCamp after years of training athletes of all ages. I'm happy to provide my skill set to glorify God in the classroom or out on the field. "Wise men say, 'forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza'" -Michelangelo

Maggie Froese

BaseCamp Counselor
I have been working with kids since I was a teenager, often being my neighborhoods  babysitter for many years. I have a degree in musical theatre which has led to working with kids of all ages, helping them learn and grow and develop their talents. Being able to show the light and love of Jesus in the arts and with children is such a joy in my life, and I look forward to continuing to help kids grow in their relationships with Jesus while working at BaseCamp.

Joshua Harig

BaseCamp Counselor
This has been a door-opening experience for my passion to help the youth experience the love and passion of Christ. What I like about base camp is that I’m able to freely express myself and my love for Christ and be able to share it with the next generation of the church. What I want to bring to BaseCamp is a safe place where kids can learn who they are in Jesus and be able to walk in the calling He has for them
